Graveside services for Margaret Ruth Pritchett will be held 11:00 am, Thursday January 14, 2010
at Moodys Cemetery. Officiating will be Reverend Danny Buzzard. Pallbearers will be Audie Murphy, Larry Dewayne Pritchett, Joe Rainwater, Kyle Graig Murphy, Farron Pritchett and Berton Pritchett. Honorary pallbearers are Bradley Pritchett, William Yochum and Tracey Philpott. Interment will follow under the care of Green Country Funeral Home. Margaret Ruth Pritchett was born on October 28, 1928 to Pressley Mosco Hensley and Lou Ethel (Brock) Hensley at Eldon, Oklahoma. She passed away in the Tahlequah City Hospital on January 11, 2010 at the age of 81years.
Margaret Ruth Hensley married Tony Pritchett on July 8, 1944. From this union came eight children. Margaret was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, cooking, and going to yard sales
Ruth is preceded in death by both parents, Press and Ethel Hensley; her husband, Toney Pritchett;
sisters, Gertie Vaughn, Thelma Neugin, Nellie Ott and Annwake Neugin Clinton; brothers, Harvey Hensley and Richard Hensley and granddaughter, Julia Harbison.
She leaves behind her eight children, Mary Poteet and husband Charlie, Toney Lee “Buck” and wife Carolyn, Ellen Philpott and husband Ken, Louise Murphy and husband Bill, Louie Dewayne and wife Faye, Paul Eugene and wife Debbie, Larry Dean and wife Terri, Martha Mojica and husband Juan all of Tahlequah; 22 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, and a host of other friends, family and loved ones.
