Joe Butler Cleek was born December 13, 1948, in Claremore , Oklahoma to Ransom and Susie Cleek and went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 01, 2010 at Muskogee , Oklahoma at the age of 61 years 1 month and 19 days.
Joe spent his early years in and around Owala, Foyil and Claremore , Oklahoma .
Joe had a great respect for nature and loved to tinker and collect many different things. He was a motorcycle, hotrod and antique car fan. He enjoyed and listened to a large variety of music. Joe was a bridge and road construction worker and enjoyed the camaraderie of the crew he worked with. He was always the life of the party and could make a joke out of any situation. He was a good judge of character and that trait served him well. He was protective and loyal over his family and friends.
Joe is survived by his wife, Pamela, 3 children, Tommy, Michelle and Ben, eleven (11) grandchildren, Steven, Vincent, Rachelle, Colton, Victor, Trinton, Taryn, Dyllan, Ashton Bryanna, and Dallis-Jacob; and one (1) great grandchild, Rodrick one (1) brother Raymond Cleek and wife Davida of Welling, one (1) sister Colleen Wakely of Sperry and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three (3) brothers Hosey, Floyd and Rickie, one (1) sister, Faye and one (1) daughter, Josena.
Joe will be greatly missed by all family and friends.
Viewing will be held at the Green Country Funeral Home in Tahlequah , OK
Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 6th at 10:30am in the Green Country Funeral Home Chapel.
